Currently, mental health is one of the biggest concerns in healthcare and the availability of such services in areas that require it most. Several studies have projected that mental health disorders like depression and anxiety are on the rise across the world, but people’s access to professional care still varies dramatically. I chose this topic because mental health is a human right, but barred individuals find themselves struggling to get mental health services.
