Hello Class,
I once had the opportunity to volunteer at a local community center, where I worked with elderly individuals in their late 70s and 80s. This period was mainly a favorable period, defined by the excellent discourses and the ratiocination of the elderly. They were providing a technology workshop for a team of older adults, and they were encouraged to learn how to use smartphones and tablets. At first, the participants could hardly express themselves to complete the task as they were frustrated and hesitant because of the new technology. Nevertheless, as the session proceeded, the learners’ curiosity and desire to know more were noted clearly. At the end of the workshop, most were happy, thanked, and seemed confident in using the devices….
