Consider how you would communicate this change to a team or how you would prefer to receive this change communicated to you.

Post your analysis of how the drivers of and resistance to change impact organizations. Be sure to include the following:

  • Identify the most pressing challenge a leader will face when implementing organizational change in the healthcare industry and explain why.
  • Write an appropriate intent statement that you could share with employees. Your intent statement should introduce the need for the change you identified, explain what the change will accomplish, and address the capacity for this change by employees. Use creative metaphors or images to help communicate the change.
  • Describe what actions a leader can take to create a climate for change and encourage risk-taking. Be specific.

Support your response by identifying and explaining key points and/or examples presented in the Learning Resources.

Read a selection of your colleagues’ postings. Consider how your colleagues’ postings relate to the information presented in the Learning Resources and to your own posting.
